Since one of my passions is martial arts, I wanted to make a piece of jewelry depicting one of my favorite pursuits. As swordsmanship is the central focus of my martial practice, I chose to begin this intended series of sword pendants with the Chinese Jian (double-edged straight sword). I have been a student of Yangjia Michuan taijiquan (tai chi chuan) for the last 4 years. This picture shows one in sterling silver, 14K rose gold and 14K yellow gold. This is just the first of an intended 12 piece series. Perhaps the best is yet to come? Time alone will tell.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
